Injectable fillers are substances designed to enhance volume, erase wrinkles and restore the youthful contour of the face. There are many filler choices. Hyaluronic acid is found in Restylane, Juvederm, and Perlane, a naturally occurring human protein responsible for cushioning the skin. Other fillers such as Radiesse are meant to fill a larger volume loss such as sagging cheeks, deep lines from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds) and lines from the corners of the mouth to the jaw line (marionette lines).
